Vegetarian food in Naoshima? 8 vegetarian dishes near Miyanoura Port, open daily until 21:30

Yes. At Little Plum - Tapas & Wine Restaurant -, 2 minutes on foot from Miyanoura Port on Naoshima, eight dishes on the menu are marked V (vegetarian) and one more is marked VO (can be prepared in a vegetarian version). We are open every day from 16:00 to 21:30.

Which dishes are vegetarian?

These eight dishes are marked V on our menu. All prices include tax.

• House-made seasonal pickles: 650 yen. Seasonal vegetables pickled sweet and sharp.
• Sicilian-style marinated pumpkin: 900 yen. Pumpkin marinated with onion cooked for sweetness, and vinegar.
• Marinated mushrooms with coriander: 900 yen. Shiitake and other mushrooms, finished light with coriander.
• Vegetable caponata: 1,000 yen. Aubergine, courgette and other bright vegetables stewed in tomato.
• Island garden salad: 1,000 yen. Dressed with a light carrot dressing.
• Pommes pin (fried mashed potato): 950 yen. Belgian in origin; mashed potato shaped and fried until crisp.
• House-smoked cheese: 600 yen. Gently smoked over cherry wood.
• Smoked mixed nuts: 600 yen. Several kinds of nuts smoked over cherry wood.

Is there a vegetarian pasta?

Yes. Penne all'arrabbiata, Naoshima salt-cured pork (1,850 yen) is marked VO, which means it can be prepared in a vegetarian version.

What about the other dishes?

The daily charcoal grill, the signature plates and the desserts are not marked V or VO on our menu. The grill changes every day and is shown on a separate sheet in the restaurant. The full menu, with the V and VO marks, is on our English page.

Where are you, and when are you open?

We are 2 minutes on foot from Miyanoura Port and 10 seconds from the Naoshima Bath “I♥湯”. Address: 2252-1 Miyanoura, Naoshima-cho, Kagawa-gun, Kagawa 761-3110, Japan.

Open daily from 16:00 to 21:30, with no regular closing day. Last orders: charcoal grill 20:00, food and dessert 20:30, drinks 21:00. We open at 16:00 and do not serve lunch or breakfast.

Can I order in English? Do I need a reservation?

Yes, you can order in English, either from the mobile order on your phone by scanning the QR code on your table, or by telling our staff directly.

We take reservations by phone at +81 90-1112-7040. We accept credit cards (VISA, JCB, MasterCard, American Express). Children are welcome.

Is there a minimum order?

We ask every guest to order one drink and one dish. At certain times, such as the 16:00 hour, drinks only may be available on the terrace.

Soft drinks, coffee and tea are on the menu, as well as four craft beers from the islands of the Seto Inland Sea (1,300 yen each). You must be 20 or over to drink alcohol in Japan.
